HOLDING’s investments in the real estate sector amounted to USD 81.2 million,
representing almost 14% of the company’s total investment portfolio at the end
of 2011. PADICO HOLDING owns significant holdings in seven companies operating
in this sector.
In
2011, PADICO HOLDING finalized most of the restructuring procedures for the
companies working in this sector, merging them under Palestine Real Estate
Investment Company (PRICO). This process included transferring PADICO HOLDING’s
shares in the following companies to PRICO, and in exchange, PADICO HOLDING
enlarged its ownership share in PRICO after increasing its capital.
